Gutters

Pressure Point Roofing, Inc takes seriously the protection of your home from water. As we do the initial inspection of your roof we will also check the integrity and performance of your current gutters and downspouts. If there is a need for either or both of these products, Pressure Point will gladly give you an estimate for their replacement.

In choosing a new gutter system we recommend the use of aluminum gutters. The choice of aluminum will give you rust free years of service. The use of “hidden hangars” with screws, not spikes and farrels(nails), will help to prevent the problem of the spikes warbling out the rafter tails and becoming loose.

The downspouts are a critical point for any gutter system. At Pressure Point we use as a standard the 2”x3” with curved elbows to help prevent blockage that normally occurs with the “squared” style.

Keeping your gutters clean of debris will help tremendously in their functioning properly. In this area you have a couple of options:

    1) You can clean the gutters yourself,
    2) Call Pressure Point Roofing to clean them, or
    3) Install the “Raintube” gutter protection system.

The “Raintube” is (from our experience) the best performing gutter protection system available today. It keeps tree debris, birds nests, and the occasional bouncy ball from clogging your gutters and downspouts, eventually causing you the time and grief of having to clean, or pay to have cleaned, your gutters. The Raintube also qualifies as a "Green", or earth friendly product since it is made of recycled products and can be recycled again.

A properly installed gutter system, with the “Raintube” gutter protection, will provide the assurance that the water shed from your roof is being controlled properly.
